Errors (music)

Errors are a four piece "post-electro" band from Glasgow, Scotland. They are signed to Rock Action Records, the label founded and managed by the band Mogwai.

History

The band was formed in 2004 by members Simon Ward, Greg Paterson and Stephen Livingstone. After a handful of shows in their hometown they were signed to Mogwai's Rock Action imprint. Their first single, the 7" "Hans Herman", sold out quickly, [http://www.rock-action.co.uk/index.php?id=120] and garnered them wider media attention, including an appearance on MTV's flagship "Total Request Live" show. [http://radiobutt.blogspot.com/2008/04/errors-how-clean-is-your-acid-house-ep.html] The band recruited drummer James Hamilton, at the time also a member of fellow Scots Dananananaykroyd, to play drums for them as they released their debut EP "How Clean is your Acid House" in 2006.
