King-Lincoln Bronzeville (or King-Lincoln for short) is a neighborhood in Columbus, OH bounded by Broad Street to the south, 20th Street to the east, Atcheson Street to the north, and I-71 to the west according to the City of [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbus,_Ohio Columbus] [http://assets.columbus.gov/development/planning/kinglincoln.pdf "King-Lincoln District Plan."] page 12 The area has worsened over the years because of drugs, violence, and gangs, but recently has seen some limited revitalization. [http://council.ci.columbus.oh.us/council_news/release/release_85.asp] The neighborhood has become the focus of the city's revitalization efforts which include renovation of the historic Lincoln Theatre, construction of new condos and expansion of retail space along Mt Vernon Avenue and Long Street, [http://development.columbus.gov/Asset/iu_files/Neighborhood_Projects/Keena-KL_Arts___Entertainment_District_10-04-2007_Update.pdf] which hosts the annual [http://www.longstreettour.com/ Long Street Tour] cycling event.
