Jim Kirby (baseball)

James Herschel Kirby (born May 5, 1923 in Nashville, Tennessee) is a former Major League Baseball player. Kirby played for Chicago Cubs in the 1949 season. In three career games, he had one hit in two at-bats. He batted and threw Right handed. Kirby was drafted originally by the Cubs in 1948 rule 5 draft.
