Boulmer is a village in Northumberland, in England. It is situated on the North Sea coast to the east of Alnwick. Boulmer also has a life-boat station, the life-boat is named the Pentland Knight and is crewed by the B.V.R.S [http://www.boulmer-lifeboat.org.uk link to BVRS website] It is home to RAF Boulmer which is home to one of the main search and rescue helicopter bases in the northeast of England.
