EMMA is a German feminist magazine.

The first magazine "Emma" was published on January 26, 1977 with a circulation of about 200,000.Founder of the magazine was Alice Schwarzer. The name of the magazine "Emma" is a wordplay of the term "emancipation".

Since its foundation, "Emma" is the leading feminist magazine in Germany; with Alice Schwarzer as its most important journalist.
