The Men's 1km time trial (B&VI 1–3) at the 2008 Summer Paralympics took place on September 8 at the Laoshan Velodrome. The world record was broken during the event, by Anthony Kappes and his pilot, Barney Storey (Great Britain). They took 0.517 seconds off their previous world record set in 2007.
