Local community services association

Local Community Services Association (LCSA) is the peak body for Neighbourhood and Community Centres in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Its main office is located in the suburb of Glebe, Sydney. LCSA was founded in 1974 and is funded primarily by the NSW State Government, particularly the Department of Community Services (DoCS). LCSA currently has almost 300 member associations.

* Represent and advocate the interests of its members;
* Provide written and online resources for members;
* Organises an annual conference;
* Promotes and educates on community development, good governance and results based accountability;
* Provides an up-to-date website, http://www.lcsa.org.au;
* Provides weekly e-newsletters to members, and
* Works towards social justice.
