Notes

  1. ^ Creates: Specifies whether the application can create a new ISO image file, either by capturing the image of an actual disc or by composing an ISO image file from locally-stored files.
  2. ^ Modifies: Specifies whether the application is able to manipulate the contents of an existing ISO image file, including adding, changing or deleting files within or modifying ISO volume information.
  3. ^ Mounts: Specifies whether the application can emulate an optical disc drive, treat an ISO image file like a virtual disc and virtually insert the ISO image file into that emulated virtual drive.
  4. ^ Burns: Specifies whether the application can write an ISO image file onto an optical disc and create a physical replica.
  5. ^ Extracts: Specifies whether the application can copy some or all of the files within an ISO image file outside the ISO image.
  6. ^ Input: A new ISO image file can be created from the sources specified here. For an application that cannot create ISO images, the formats recognized by the application and used for mounting and/or burning are listed here.
  7. ^ Output: The contents of an existing ISO image file can be written to the targets specified here.
