In November 2004 he moved into commercial radio, where he was offered a work placement at Delta FM - the local radio station for East Hampshire, South West Surrey and North West Sussex. In early 2005, he was given the role of weekday Drivetime Presenter and commercial producer, which he continued for 3 years.

In October 2007, Nathan left Delta FM to become a freelancer for both commercial and BBC local radio. While freelancing, he has also worked behind the scenes in television, working at various events for BBC South East Today in Kent.

However, Nathan was based for a short while at BBC Southern Counties Radio in Guildford as a stand-in Breakfast and Drivetime Travel Presenter, and occasionaly stood in as a studio producer, which included working on various daytime and weekend programmes.
