Redeye Empire

Musical influences are Sublime, Jack Johnson and the Red Hot Chili Peppers [http://www.weeklysurge.com/2008%20archives/050108%20archives/review2_050108.html] , and Redeye Empire has toured in support of G.Love & Special Sauce in 2007, playing venues such as The Vic Theatre in Chicago, House of Blues Orlando and Stubbs BBQ in Austin Texas, and the Whistler Crankworks festival in 2007 and 2008. Redeye Empire has two albums. "Redeye" (2006) and "The Diary of Everett Miley" (2007), created with producers Chris D (Ben Harper, Jack Johnson) and Ben Kaplan (Shakira, Trapt), which the Vancouver Province called "modern pop awareness [with] an occasional ska influence...but...firmly reggae." They are signed to the label 29 Records in Vancouver, British Columbia.
