Richard E. Rabuck (born June 12, 1982) is a Republican politician and political consultant from Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. In 2000, Rabuck made history as the youngest elected School Board member in Pennsylvania state history when he was elected to the Northern Lebanon School Board at the age of 18. [cite web

Biography

A life-long resident of Lebanon County, Rabuck attended Northern Lebanon High School and in 2004 earned a bachelor's degree in Public Policy from the Pennsylvania State University. While attending Penn State, Rabuck worked as an intern in the offices of Governor Mark Schweiker and Tom Ridge. Rabuck also served as a legislative fellow with the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Upon earning his degree, Rabuck was hired by the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania to lobby state and federal government officials on behalf of Pennsylvania's 67 counties. Rabuck served the association with distinction until being asked to serve the House Republican Caucus as a Public Relations Coordinator where he handled the communication needs of several prominit members of the state House including former Speaker John Perzel. In August of 2007, Rabuck's hard work and dedication was recognized by state Rep. Dan Moul of Gettysburg who appointed Rabuck as his Chief of Staff.

School Board

An aggressive and dedicated public servant, Rabuck entered the race for the Northern Lebanon School Board just months after graduating from the district. Several months later, Rabuck found himself the subject of several news stories in the Patriot News, Daily Collegian, Lebanon Daily News, as well as several other local and regional papers throughout the United States [cite web

] when he was elected as the Youngest School Board Member in the History of Pennsylvania.

Rabuck went to work on behalf of the district immediately and quickly earned the respect of his fellow board members who appointed him as the board's representative on the Harrisburg Area Community College's Advisory Board and the board's Legislative Liaison. Rabuck also served as Chairman of the Boards Programs Committee.
