Red Bud is a small community located in the northeastern part of Gordon County, GA.

Schools:

Red Bud Elementary (Indians)Sonoraville Middle (Chiefs)Sonoraville High (Pheonix)

Red Bud was once comprised of grades 1-12, but was closed down to all grades but k-5 after the 1991-1992 school year.

Sonoraville Middle has been open since 1991.

Sonoraville High, after a mysterious, fatal fire in the 1950's, was rebuilt and reopened in 2004. The first graduation class came in 2007.
