John Potts (Pennsylvanian)

John Potts (Pennsylvanian)

John Potts was the founder of the towns of Pottstown and Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania. He was also an ironmaster, merchant, and English Quaker. His father was Thomas Potts.

A house he built, Pottsgrove Manor, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
