Jim "Jimmy" Korderas (born March 19, 1962) is a Canadian professional wrestling referee currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment, officiating on the SmackDown brand. He joined the WWF in 1988 and, with few exceptions, has been a regular referee ever since.

In one notable match at WrestleMania IV, Korderas was legitimately knocked unconscious by Jimmy Hart after Hart decked him too hard with his trademark megaphone. As a result, he had to be physically assisted from the ring.

Korderas was the referee at the ill fated match at Over the Edge 1999 [May 23, 1999] between "Blue Blazer" Owen Hart and The Godfather. He was in the ring when Owen died. On Knarley.net there are pictures of that night with written summaries. The summaries say that Owen yelled to Jimmy and told him to move because Owen didn't want to land on him.

During a kayfabe strike by the WWF referees in late 1999, Korderas was the only regular referee who did not join the strike. This led to him being attacked by the striking refs at Unforgiven 1999.

At Rebellion 2002 in a "Kiss my Ass Match" with Rikishi vs. Albert he made Albert kiss Rikishi's buttocks as Albert was running out of the arena.

In a 2002 interview, Curt Hennig recalled that Jim Korderas renamed the fisherman suplex to the Perfectplex quoting "As he was preparing to make his WWE debut, Hennig was looking around for a finishing maneuver. He found it one day on a Japanese tour, as he watched a match featuring his father's old tag-team partner, Harley Race. Race executed a fisherman's suplex during the bout, which turned on a light bulb in Hennig's head. "The way he did it, he just fell right on his back, and being an amateur wrestler too, I figured I could just bridge," Hennig recalls. "I have a pretty strong neck. So I did it, and the guy went right over. Then one day (referee) Jim Korderas said, 'Why don't you call it the Perfectplex?' I said, 'That's great! Thank you! "

On November 4, 2004, episode of "SmackDown!", during "Tough Enough", Kurt Angle challenged the finalists through a squat thrust competition. The winner was Chris Nawrocki, and as part of the "Kurt Angle Invitational", the prize Nawrocki won was a match against Angle. After Angle defeated Nawrocki, Angle asked if anyone else wanted to try. Daniel Puder, an American mixed martial artist, raised his hand and challenged Angle. During the match, Angle and Puder wrestled for position before Angle took Puder down, in the process, Puder locked Angle in a real submission hold, a "kimura lock". With Puder on his back, one of two referees in the ring, Jim Korderas, quickly counted three to end the bout, but some observed that during the pin, Puder's shoulders were not on the mat. Puder later claimed he would have snapped Angle's arm on national television, if Korderas had not ended the match. Korderas played a minor part in what was JBL's last appearance as a wrestler on SmackDown!. Originally giving JBL the win on the May 26, 2006 edition as JBL was taking the World Heavyweight Championship belt, Korderas spotted Rey Mysterio's foot on the bottom rope and restarted the match which Mysterio would win after JBL threw Mysterio into Korderas who was retying a turnbuckle that he had caught JBL untying, knocking Korderas out. He came to in time to see Mysterio pin JBL after an exchange of illegal objects and moves, thus ending JBL's Smackdown career. Earlier that night, Korderas had also been assigned to the JBL vs. Bobby Lashley match for the WWE United States Championship which Lashley would win. JBL as a color commentator had bashed Korderas for being Canadian and claimed that he was screwed out of the Championship by Korderas.

In 2006, the WWE had pulled Korderas off the road briefly due to health reasons, but he returned to work shortly thereafter.

Korderas has a hidden talent:freestyle rapping.
