The Sing Along was started in the early 60's By Bill Elliot. The McGinness family took over the program in the mid 60's, Kevin (the youngest) Performing in it at only 6 years of age.

The Show was very well known for the ending, in which Dr. McGinness would have the band play "Its a Small World" and he would march around the seashell having all the children follow him. HE would then bring them up on stage and hand one child a silver dollar. Directly after this, the band would play "God Bless America" and the show would end.

The show was a crowd pleaser in many ways. The family showed incredible musical ability at young ages, and would perform songs for different generations. The show continued to be a hit for 25+ years.

Bill, the oldest of the children, now plays with the "US" band. "US" along with the McGinness boys (Kevin, Bill, and Larry) recently performed at the seashell once again, and the show, yet again was a hit with the locals as well as the tourists.
