Carrie Gerlach

Carrie Gerlach is a one-time author who wrote "Emily's Reasons Why Not (novel)". Gerlach's book launched to fame to become the television series "Emily's Reasons Why Not", which lasted but one episode. Carrie had a second book planned, a sequel to "Emily", but did not become completed because of the quick cancellation of the television series. Carrie is now married to Titans Safeties and Nickelbacks Coach Chuck Cecil and blogs on the teams' website. Flea The couple had a daughter together, Charli, and currently reside in Nashville, TN.

Prior to her book, Carrie was a Hollywood Writer/Producer, who was the unit publicist to such films as "End of Days", "Dogma" and "Gang Related".

Carrie has admitted that her character, Emily Sanders, is based on her.
