Kadodi

Kadodi is the language spoken by the Kupari community in Vasai, Maharashtra, India. It is also called as Samvedic.

It is an intermediate language of Marathi and Konkani with few loanwords derived from Portuguese.

Kadodi is a member of the Konkani language family.

It is usually a vocal language and does not have any unique script. Devanagari script is commonly used.

A typical phrase in English "Where are you going?" sounds same as when you read "Kade Salo?"
