Tampere Hall

Tampere Hall

The Tampere Hall is the largest concert and congress centre in the Nordic countries, located in the southern edge of Sorsapuisto, in the centre of Tampere, Finland. Opposoite of the Tampere Hall is the main building of the University of Tampere and the Tampere railway station is only half a kilometre away.

Because of the central location of the Tampere Hall, it hosts many small fairs, including the first ever Finncon in Tampere. Also, the Tampere Opera and the Tampere Philharmonics are located there.

The director of the Tampere Hall is Kalervo Kummola. Previous directors have included Carl Öhman and Kaarina Suonio.

The Tampere Hall was again nominated as the best congress venue in Finland. This was the third time the Hall has won the title.
