The Marine Corps Training and Education Command, or TECOM, is responsible for the training and educational operations of the United States Marine Corps. The current commanding general of TECOM is Major General Melvin G. Spiese.[1]
TECOM is responsible for the operation and administration of multiple facilities, including the Mountain Warfare Training Center at Bridgeport, California, and Marine Corps Recruit Depots at Parris Island, South Carolina and San Diego, California.
