1950 VFL Grand Final

1950 VFL Grand Final

The 1950 VFL Grand Final took place on September 23, 1950 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground between VFL clubs Essendon and North Melbourne.

This was North Melbourne's first ever VFL Grand Final while Essendon were competing in their fifth successive premiership decider. Essendon won the match by 38 points to claim back to back premierships and send the retiring Dick Reynolds out in style, although he would come out of retirement for one final game in 1951.
