A Frames is postpunk, noise rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1999. The trio consists of Erin Sullivan, Min Yee and Lars Finberg. The band called itself Bend Sinister before Finberg joined the band. The band members also play in other acts including The Intelligence, the Dipers and Climax Golden Twins. All the members still hold day jobs. Sullivan is a photographer for Corbis, Yee works for a school district and Finberg works for Amazon.com. Musical style

A Frames sing about technology and apocalyptic cultural shifts, although many of the lyrics and themes are meant to be humorous. The drum beat is often mechanical and pounding, producing a raw, minimalistic sound.
