Victor Cattermole

Victor Cattermole, (born Christchurch, New Zealand 9 January, 1963) is a Kiwi entrepreneur now based in Hong Kong. Started learning guitar at age 5, started teaching guitar at age 12, his first band at age 10. Took up drums at age 13 and by 15 was playing percussion in Skellerup Woolston Brass Band (New Zealands most highly awarded champion band) under the guidance of Mervyn Waters. Cattermole was also principal percussionist for the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra from age 16 to 19. An accomplished session musician and drummer for such bands as Pete Rainey Big Band, Junction 14 and The Real McCoys. Played with such artists as Dean Howe (ex Woody Herman sax player) Stu Buchanan, Roger Fox and the Yandle sisters.

Cattermole started his first business at age 18 in fruit and vegetables which he sold 2 years later. Cattermole then moved in to musical instrument importing and distribution a venture that was not so successful. In 1991 he partnered in a factoring business in Wellington, New Zealand. This foray into finance lead Cattermole in to real estate development in New Zealand.

In around 1991 Cattermole established The Endeavor Plan as a global network of members interested in investments. The project came under the scrutiny of the Securities Commission in New Zealand and a media scuffle took place with SEC accession Cattermole of misleading advertising and using West Indies tax haven to operate from. Cattermole remains outspoken about allegations of conspiracy and corruption within the New Zealand SEC and invited them to take the matter to court, they never have. Prominent political leaders at the time (Richard Prebble and Rodney Hide) requested Minister of Commerce, John Luxton, to investigate the matter, after the investigation his office advised his file on the matter no longer exists.

Cattermole continues to develop the Endeavor Plan, now based in Hong Kong. Recent valuation by a highly recognized Hong Kong valuation company Greater China Appraisal Limited puts Cattermoles Endeavor Plan company at a current value of around €100 million. Market analysts predict the proposed 2009 IPO value closer to €2.5b.

Cattermole is also understood to be involved in the energy sector and in 2008 signed a deal with European company Environmental Unique Solutions AG which will net Cattermole over €500 million in the following 2 years in licenses and manufacturing royalties.
