Nari Panoos

Nari Panoos is a village and Union Council of Karak District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.^[1] It is located at 33°10′57″N 71°9′46″E / 33.1825°N 71.16278°E / 33.1825; 71.16278Coordinates: 33°10′57″N 71°9′46″E / 33.1825°N 71.16278°E / 33.1825; 71.16278 with an altitude of 678 metres (2227 feet)^[2] and is an area where salt is mined.^[3]

Description

Nari Panos is located at North of city Karak about 10 Kilometers from it.It is included in tehsil Banda Daud shah of district Karak, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.The village is riched in Salt mines and length of mountains containing salt is about 20000 meters extending from Bhahadar Khel to Spina.Nari Panos is sandwicthed between Banda Daud Shah and Karak with salt mines between Karak and it transversely.Nari Panos is also possessing Uranium,gas,crude oil but not yet extracted as it is part of the tehsil including all these.Nari Panos is union council. Nari Panos is surrounded by Spina at east, Enzarpayan at North, Dagar Nari at West and Salt mountains is its limit boundary with city Karak.Literacy rate of the villge is 70 percent and almost every child is on way to school.Now the oil companies are towards Nari Panos and Banda Daud Shah for mines extraction and already MOL is working in tehsil.
