Kunming University

Kunming University, founded in 1984, is Yunnan's only comprehensive professional university approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Kunming University has 3 campuses with a total area of 499 mus. The total value of teaching and scientific research equipment is 4056,0000 Yuan; the university library has a collection more the 462,000 volumes. The university has founded 3 training and experiment bases along with over 30 first-class laboratories, for example, simulated tour guide laboratory, security investment laboratory, numerical control technology laboratory and etc.

Kunming University enrolls students all over China. At present the total number of students is over 7,000 who come from 17 provinces, cities and autonomous regions. University has 8 teaching units, 42 majors among which 2 are national model majors, 6 are provincial model majors.

It has a long-term students exchange agreement with Rajabhat Institute Dhonburi, Thailand and it also associates with Shanghai Finance University.
