My Luminaries are a British alternative rock band, formed in London in 2004.

Biography

My Luminaries were formed at Kingston University in 2004. Their first releases were an EP, a live album, and two singles; "Jumping the Great White" and "The Outsider Steps Inside", released on Grönland Records. Their debut studio album, Order From The Chaos, was recorded in 2009, featuring contributions from members of The Band of The Blues and Royals . The album was released through the band's own label 'Cottage Industries' on 6th June 2010.

In 2010, My Luminaries won the Early Bird, Q magazine emerging talent competition, giving them the chance to play Glastonbury Festival in 2010.[1] Since the festival the band members have pursued other projects.
