Saktigarh Bidyapith

Saktigarh Vidyapith (H.S), Saktigarh is one of the first schools of Saktigarh, and the most prestigious school of this sub-Himalayan part of West Bengal.

History of Establishment

The school was established in the year 1953 as a Primeri School. all the three streams, Science, Commerce and Humanities could be studied here. This was the first multipurpose school of the region.

ecretary's Office

The first secretary of the school was Shree Biren Das.

The office of the secretary were followed by Kali Kinkar Singha, Birendranath Sarkar , Swadesh Ranjan Sarkar etc.The present secretary is Shree Tarun Ghosh.

Affiliation

The school is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education - popularly known as West Bengal State Education Boards.

Now the school have a big double storied building with an auditorium, staff rooms, all well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geography laboratories.
