It continues west as Dickinson County Road 1400, going through Navarre, where it shares a short concurrency with K-43 before ending at K-15 south of Abilene.
The road continues east as Avenue G in Morris County, where it becomes K-4 just before entering White City.History
K-209 first appeared on the Kansas State Highway in 1962 [Cite map | publisher = Kansas Department of Transportation | title = Official State Transportation Map | url = http://www.ksdot.org/burtransplan/maps/state-pdf/1962Mapside.pdf | edition = January 1962 | section = C9 | accessdate = 2008-06-04 ] when US 77 was placed on a new alignment to the east of Woodbine.
