Kadiyam Srihari was the Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 1995 to 2004. . He recently got elected from the Station Ghanpur Constituency.

Early life and political career

Kadiyam Srihari was very much successful in making Station Ghanpur one of the best developed Constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. Much of the development of the administration of the Station Ghanpur area is attributed to Mr. Srihari. There was a great emphasis on infrastructure, and the Constituency saw a sudden increase in the road networks.

Defeat in 2004

Mr. Srihari from TDP lost the elections in 2004 to the TRS party, under K. Chandrashekhar Rao's leadership. The 2004 defeat was attributed to strong Telangana Sentiment.
