"I've Been Working" is a song written by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison. It appears on the album "His Band and the Street Choir", released in 1970.

According to Clinton Heylin the song was originally recorded in the Astral Weeks sessions "According to Warners' files, there were two out-takes, an early version of "I've Been Working" and a song listed simply as "Train"." [Heylin, Can You Feel the Silence?, p.195]
