Larry Kiely (born 1941 in Gortnahoe, County Tipperary) is a retired Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Gortnahoe-Glengoole and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team in the 1960s.

Larry Kiely was also a member of the Irish army showjumping team representing his country on many occasions.At one stage he held the world puissance record with Raimondo D'Inzeo of Italy (7 feet 2 inches). He represented Ireland in Individual Showjumping at the 1968 Mexico Olympics.

Kiely also served as a peacekeeper with the United Nations in Syria and the Lebanon. His two brothers Eamon and Anthony were also Irish Army officers.

He lives on the family holding at Glengoole, Co. Tipperary.
