=Biography=Born "Thomas A. Wolf" in a small town in Texas. Wolf studied in Chicago and traveled throughout the United States and Europe during the 1960's. Wolf moved to Los Angeles and at age 24 became senior pastor the "First Southern Baptist Church of East Los Angeles", "bringing enthusiasm" to a handful of people still attending. Located on "Brady Ave" he presided over the church as it became known as "The Church on Brady.". Wolf served for 25 years in this role.

He developed the direction for "Brady" to "become a spiritual reference point east of downtown Los Angeles and a sending base to the ends of the earth."

He has advocated a holistic lifestyle in which a person lives a transformed life as a follower of Jesus by becoming a change agent in their circle of influence, composed of family, neighbors, co-workers and friends [ [http://www.kristenonline.com/download/book/oikos%20evangelism.pdf Oikos Evangelism] ] and taking in discipleship training such as being part of Home Church/Discovery Bible Studies [ [http://www.baptist.ca/church/files/Need-Oriented%20Evangelism/Church%20for%20the%20Unchurched.doc Home Church/Discovery Bible Studies] ] groups or "Share Groups".

Dr. Lyle Schaller has said, he "...tenaciously and persistently pursued the perennial apostolic paradigm of church ... multiplication ..." They initiated the "Spare Not Conference on World Evangelism" becoming influential globally. Hundreds of students and leaders sought to be discipled by Wolf. He gained a reputation for overseeing a ethnically diverse group of congregants. Wolf's communication style has been called "passionate" and his knowledge of biblical scripture "deep". He is known for his effects, acronyms, initialisms and other mnemonic memory teaching methods.

He and Linda have three children; Chris, Shane and Matthew.
