Profiles

*She competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, wearing the number #13 jersey. There she ended up in fifth place with the Japan women's national team. Otomo played as a middle-blocker.
*In 2006, she was two months pregnant when she had a shotgun wedding with Tatsuo Yamamoto, a professional beachvolleyball player.
*In 2008, Hisamitsu Springs announced that she was to return to active duty.
