Edward V. Hartford

Edward V. Hartford (died 1922) was one of three sons of A&P founder George Huntington Hartford.

Hartford was the only son not involved in day-to-day operations of the supermarket empire and worked only briefly in the business. His fame came with his auto parts invention. Hartford was heir to the business and later passed on to his son Huntington Hartford following his death in 1922.

Hartford was married to Henrietta Guerard Hartford, whom died in 1948.
